Le Martin p\u00eacheur se nourrit principalement de petits poissons. Mais il peut aussi p\u00eacher des crevettes si le poisson se fait rare, comme c’est le cas actuellement dans la Boutonne. Le niveau de l’eau est tr\u00e8s bas et les poissons ont d\u00e9sert\u00e9 le lieu. Le Martin p\u00eacheur avale le crustac\u00e9e en totalit\u00e9, puis rejette les parties non dig\u00e9r\u00e9es comme les antennes, la carapace, ou les \u00e9cailles et ar\u00eates des poissons, sous la forme d’une pelote de rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
